This is Audible on Andriod Auto
One of the most requested applications for android auto is here. Almost. Audible has added support for the extension of infotainment Google in the beta version of its application, which means you can now easily listen to books on tape (I am old, and that phrase will never die) while you are driving.
Auto Android
Not much to implement, and we are fine with that. Books you have in your account Audible appear in the application. Choose what you want to hear on the menu, and you're on your way. Playback controls are very basic. The main screen has played / pause, and the player 30-second skip and rewind buttons. Press the button overflow and can skip forward and backward through the chapters or sections of markers.
The only caveat here is that you have to download the phone book first.
You really can not do that through the Android interface Auto. So
if it's not in your phone, you are not listening to it.
And, well, that's all. Works are simple and is finally available - if you are willing to jump through a few hoops to join the beta application group.
